**The lesson report from a public junior high school in Tokyo. My students often ask me, "Why do we have to study English?" My answer to it is "To help other people and to be helped by other people." In one word, it's communication. Then, all the activities in the English lesson can be real communication, not just a word test. Teachers cannot teach communication, but I can provide opportunities for students to experience communication. How? I'll report it.
